		<description>GREAT blog! It totally depresses me how most Latin American cities see car centric solutions as the goal. Having a car is still such a mark of entering a higher social class, kind of like &quot;I can afford it so don&#039;t make me use public transportation ever again!&quot; Especially Central American cities seem to adopt all the strategies that have made US cities so unfriendly to pedestrians. SO depressing! Pedestrians should be able to use the beautiful area close to the bay, not cars! Excellent post.</description>
